I had the same problem. jumped the battery and then the radio didn't work, just said "ford fusion" on the display. you need to locate the fuse box down by the brake pedal to the left, very difficult to get at. once you find it remove the plastic cover and then remove the radio fuse (look in your owners manual for the fuse number and location
The issue I’m having is occasionally the display (touch screen / radio / everything aside from the hazard light button) won’t turn on. Also the two USB ports have blue lights on them when they are working, but whenever the display/radio won’t turn on, the USB port lights are off as well.

I have a weird issue with my 2013 Ford C-Max. I park the car and turn off the car. When I open the door, the radio does not go off and none of the audio controls work. When I turn the car back on, none of the audio controls work and the hands-free voice activation doesn’t work. It’s happened 4 times. Each time I take it to the dealer.
