Turn on the pixel-shifting option in the MyASUS app (must do) Turn on the ā€œautomatically hide Windows taskbarā€ option (highly recommended but I’m sure many people don’t want to do this) Don’t use your OLED screen at high brightness for an extended period of time. Set the screen timeout to something like 2 minutes.
Product: Spectre x360. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) Spectre x360 now has burned-in images on the monitor. Looks like the monitor has a copy of an instance of Chrome that was running behind whatever I'm running up front. Right side of screen has a nice blue burn in of the Chrome instance while the rest is washed out (bright Certain types of LCD 'can' burn in, but your talking crazy amounts static image time required. And its more due to uneven pixel degredation rather than classic 'burn in'. Temporary image retention isnt unheared of, but again rare. Certain full color videos can help reduce or remove it.
Computer Hardware. Displays. ASUS ROG oled pg42uq burn in. Hey! I bought the pg42uq few weeks ago. Actually when Linus video came out my monitor was on its way. Everything was great at 1st but yesterday I saw signs of burn in from Heartstone. I’ve kept pretty much all the safety features pixel shifting etc. apart from screen saver.
