5 days ago ยท It will take 250 hero points to fully unlock an elite specialization and all points can only be obtained through completing hero challenges found in the relevant expansion's zones or purchased from a Heroics Notary. The first trait costs 30 hero points to train, with subsequent traits costing 10 points and skills costing 15 points each.

I am halfway through LW3 after completing HoT's main story line and still cannot spec far enough into my guardian's elite spec to make it useful. I really want to play firebrand but I am getting disheartened a bit that I won't get to till I've already completed PoF or later. UPDATE: I was able to get into one and now have Firebrand unlocked!

Tying masteries to hero points, specially when hero points were needed to get the elite specs and also knowing that after you get enough hero points to unlock the elite spec you don't have any reason to go for the other hero points unless you want to get 100% of the map was a bad decision. Masteries were a good idea poorly executed.
You will gain 910-920 Hero Points from all the trains, plenty of Hero Points for every Elite Spec The Trains will be very slow and beginner friendly, I will wait for people who miss stuff, I will use portals to help people who get stuck/lost All you need is Basic Glider for HoT and EoD, and Raptor for PoF
The most important info revealed in the livestream so far is that you'll get ~400 hero points from leveling, and only about ~250 from skill challenges. You will need about 465 hero points to unlock all the stuff that exists in-game today, and a bunch more for your elite spec. So it shouldn't be too awful to unlock everything. . 92 463 199 227 106 284 174 94
